When is the best time of year to visit African Dream Tour?

African Dream Tour is open all year round, so if you like the cooler winter months or the hot summer months, every time of the year offers a special bush experience.

Do I need to take an anti-malaria medication for my visit?

African Dream Tour is situated in Hoespruit which is located in the Lowveld area of South Africa where malaria is endemic. Although considered a low risk zone, we strongly recommend seeking medical advise before traveling to us.

Are bookings required for accommodation?

Yes, to confirm availability. Accommodation is only secured once full payment is received. Bookings can be made here and on the website.

Do the various activities need to be booked beforehand?

As space is limited, we encourage you to book any activities that you wish to partake in prior to your arrival and avoid disappointment.

How do I book accommodation and/or activities?

All bookings are made through this website and our online booking platforms.

You can find booking links and information for accommodations, activities and services on their respective pages. Booking links are also available in the floating buttons on the right of this page.

Is the venue / accommodation child-friendly?

As a family-run lodge, we love having families, both old and young coming to stay with us. Some activities may have age restrictions, so please check before you book.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all forms of major credit cards and EFT payments.

What facilities are available at the venue?

Do you have wifi?

Yes, there is wifi at the main lodge area.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Guests can check in between 14h00 and 18h00.

Check-out is by 10h00

What is your cancellation / refund policy?

50% Payment reserves booking, 100% Payment confirms booking. 50% payment upon accepting booking quotation and Full payment to be made 14 days prior to arrival.

15% Non-Refundable Admin fee charges on all cancellations

30 -15 day before – 50 % Cancellation fee

14 days or less – 100% Cancellation Fee

Booking once moved free of charge to alternative date

Cancellations more than 30 days before the arrival date are 100% refundable.

No show, early departures, or departures due to medical conditions are non-refundable.

All cancellations must be made in writing to African Dream Tour.

Booking can be moved once to an alternative date within the same year free of charge. Should booking be moved to the following year the difference in price will be added.
